Jakob Hohenberger founded Mons Altus Ventures after co-founding Celeris Therapeutics, an AI-driven drug discovery company, and structuring deeptech ventures for institutional capital. Outside the office, the same philosophy applies: multi-day mountain expeditions and high-elevation mountain biking. The next test of that philosophy is an upcoming self-documented solo cycling crossing of the Atacama Desert — one of the most hostile environments on Earth — departing October 2026.
